Inventures Investment Partners is a boutique impact venture capital firm based in Brussels. With 50M EUR AUM, we’ve invested in 21 companies, including CitizenLab, Velco, Univercells, myskillcamp, Pret a Pousser, Turbulent, and more.  

  

Since our founding in 2011, we have been innovators in impact investing and have contributed to a more responsible financial system through selecting and supporting sustainable start-ups. We are a tight-knit team of 8 and the intern will have the chance to work closely with everybody at Inventures.  

  

We currently have an opening for a communications intern who would need to complete a 3 to 4-month internship in the framework of their Master’s in Communications or Marketing. An internship at Inventures will help you gain experience in venture capital, learn about Belgium’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and acquire the skills needed in a full-time communications or entrepreneurship job. Our interns become true members of the team. 

   

Internship projects: 

• Content creation: helping us to launch our content strategy for Funds I and II and apply it to content creation (website, newsletters, blog posts, ...) 

• Social Media: taking ownership over Inventures’ social media accounts and building a following 

• Sourcing: finding Europe’s top impact entrepreneurs looking to raise capital in the fall, attending various events to connect with entrepreneurs, including pitch sessions, conferences, and more.  

• Fundraising: support the Inventures team in preparation for the launch of our next generation of funds. 

 

We are looking for: 

• Candidates pursuing a master’s in communications or marketing 

• Consulting, financial and research skills and a keen interest in impact 

• Autonomy, creativity, and a passion for sustainability  

• Fluent in English and French and/or Dutch.  

• Part-time (20 hours) or fulltime (40 hours) per week
